Postdoctoral Reseach Associate in Mathematics at Durham University
I am a Postdoctoral Reseach Associate at Durham University working with Yue Ren.
I have recently submitted my PhD thesis "Tropical Quiver Theory and Tropical Enumeration in Ruled Surfaces" at the Universität Tübingen, advised by Hannah Markwig.
I am happy to announce that I will be a member of the Institute for Advanced Study in 2025, where I will participate in Term II of the special year on Algebraic and Geometric Combinatorics.
Previously, I earned my Bachelor's degree the TU Kaiserslautern and my Master's degree at the Universität Tübingen. During my Bachelor's degree, I spent a year at the University of Warwick.
My research interests lie in the intersection of combinatorics and algebraic geometry and center around tropical geometry. In particular, I like working with valuated matroids and tropical linear spaces, Coxeter matroids and tropical curves. Currently, I am developing a theory of quiver representations in tropical geometry.
